Introduction
I live in North Cambridge and work in the library at Harvard. I'm an activist in the Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers. My interests are mostly literary and artistic.
What is your biggest pet peeve about society today?
Capitalism (it's a large peeve). I come at the subject from a working-class socialist point of view.
What is your greatest source of hope in these times?
That industrial society will collapse quickly enough to save a lot of the planet, but not so quickly it kills millions of people. I don't know how realistic this hope is.
How did you first hear about "peak oil"?
I stumbled on the website for the movie _What a Way to Go_. Since then I've been reading most of the well-known Peak blogs
